I've been so impressed with my seniors lately. They seem to have it all together. Well-rounded, outgoing, smart, and quite fun to hang out with! Ashleigh was no exception. We met up at the Arboretum area and before we knew it, three hours had passed and we had managed to hit up the Domain as well as perch ourselves over the 360 bridge, The shoot went by so fast! But as you can see, when your subject is a natural in front of the camera, it's easy to get carried away and be a bit trigger-happy.

Beautiful photos Nhi! Love all the different locations. :)

Here's a quick sneak peek at the ridiculously cute, easy to photograph, darling couple, Amy and Greg. I'm trying not to steal their thunder as the plan to reveal their photos to their friends and family this weekend, but I just couldn't resist sharing just one photo.
Nhi,
Thank you so much for the beautiful photos and fun filled photo shoot. I cannot wait to do bridals with you in the fall. You have captured our memories so delicately and we cannot thank you enough.

Erika's shoot is one of my favorites. Serving as one of my senior
reps, we spent a good part of an afternoon traveling around downtown
Austin and the North Campus area having a grand ol' time. What made it
fun was Erika's good nature and sweet personality. She had a vision,
she knew what she wanted and it was just a matter of execution. Easy
peasy.
With her recent acceptance into one of this country's premiere culinary school, she has a great, bright future. This girl is going places people. And fast.

Congratulations
Erika. I wish you all the best in culinary school. I just know you
will excel at all you do!

I had the pleasure of meeting Tara at the ALTF workshop way back when. Little did I know I had just met a person I would greatly admire and one I'm glad to call a friend. For one, she is a great person. Outgoing. Humble. Kind. The other thing about Tara is she is passionate about mastering her craft. Her thirst to know, learn, and continuously work at bettering herself for her clients is quite admirable. For example, at WPPI, I clearly remember crawling into bed after a long day of workshops, eyes heavy and longing for sweet slumber just to find Tara working feverishly on her laptop, recapping what she has taken in that day. I only hope to be that discipline some day.
So it saddens me to bits to learn that Tara's imminent move to greener pastures in Louisiana got moved up -- to last weekend. I am thrilled that every thing worked out so well for Tara and her husband Josh. They are looking at wonderful opportunities and for that I'm thankful. But I'll miss my dear friend.
With that, I'm dedicating this post to my dear friends Tara and Josh. I wish you both much success, joy, and happiness in good ol' Louisiana. I know that you both are about to embark on some great things, and I'm excited to hear all about it.
A few pictures from a visit out to their old stomping grounds in Marble Falls, Texas.

The beautiful Tara.
And who's that she looking at? Well that would be her hubby Josh. Any Red Sox fans out there? Doesn't Josh remind you of the superstar 3rd baseman Mike Lowell? At least I think so.

Nhi, these are so beautiful! i just now stumbled onto your blog. it's about time, huh?! and about time you update... but look who's talkin. :-) let's meet up for lunch soon! gotta meet that babe of yours!!
